    Youth-led Townhall On Punitive Approaches To Vaping​

    UpRISE partnered with an UpRISE coalition, YAASPA, to host a youth-led townhall to explore young people’s experiences with punitive approaches to addressing vaping within schools. Youth identified areas of concern and potential solutions to these persistent challenges.

    Youth Leaders Roundtable: UpRISE, EYE for Prevention and Attorney General Phil Weiser

    UpRISE’s Youth Action Board partnered with the Scholars Speakers Bureau, Denver Public Health Institute’s “Eye for Prevention” program and Colorado Department of Law staff to host a youth-led roundtable discussion with Attorney General Phil Weiser, enabling youth to discuss issues that matter to them, provide personal stories and testimony, make recommendations and advocate for authentic youth engagement in Colorado’s Government.
