Examine Power

Power is defined as the ability to influence the behavior, thoughts, or feelings of others, as well as having access to resources or privileges.

UpRISE youth and adults

  1. Examine power and how certain groups of people have unearned privileges given to them by systems.
  2. Expose how the tobacco and vape industry has abused power to create unequal rates of tobacco use, addiction, and death.
  3. Create collective power by using our voices to speak with community decision-makers to transform systems.
